It’s been a few years since “men’s grooming” has changed. No, it no longer means just a haircut, since the services of beard trimming, face spa, old school shaving  have entered the game and they are offered in places such as a new age  barber shop with a team that has the slogan «Who are we not; We are not the usual barbers».

Rooster’s Barbershop first appeared in 2015, with the branding of its first store designed by Studiomateriality. Today, that  new age barbershop has three different stores in the center of Athens and their interiors may differ, but the branding has proven to be timeless and remains the same in all of them.

In the most recent Rooster’s Barbershop store in Pagrati, the interior maintains its minimal lines and  an industrial aesthetic, without missing the solid colors beyond gray and make it absolutely contemporary – the intense green that prevails and appears for the first time in the franchise, as well as the orange details. At the same time, in terms of branding, the motto “Any Style – Any Length – Any Time” and the rooster that the barber shop has as its trademark are emphasized and both of them have a greater role in the space. The motto covers a significant part of the façade while one of the bird’s legs is the doorknob of the entrance to the barber shop.

The walls of the shop are covered in tile, except for two that each one one them forms a single, large mirror that extends from floor to ceiling without any  structure to house the barber tools to interrupt it. A trolley structure has been provided for the barber tools. Metal structures are also used as shelving in the reception area, and a metal grid in the ceiling leaves prominent  the store’s lighting equipment. As for the exterior’s  lighting equipment of Rooster’s Barbershop, a few transparent signs that let the lamps draw the eye to the shop.
