LIFO’s offices, home to one of Athens’ most distinctive voices in print and online, carry the spirit of the publication into physical space.
Mirrors line the interior, multiplying light, stretching sightlines, and scattering reflections of red, the color that defines LIFO’s logo and visual identity.
This red is everywhere, from surfaces to accents, creating a constant link between the workspace and the brand’s pulse. Custom furniture was designed for the project, tailored to the needs of an editorial environment. At the heart of the space, a blue sign displays the cover of the week. It is both a statement piece and a reminder of the rhythm that drives the work here, a visual headline in the daily life of the office.
A metal ceiling hovers above, industrial and cool, contrasting with the occasional touch of pink that softens the geometry. This pink appears subtly, almost like an editorial aside, offering small moments of playfulness in an otherwise crisp composition.
The design layers mirrors, metal, color, and bespoke elements to create an environment that feels recognisably LIFO, direct, modern, and reflective, both literally and metaphorically. It is a space where stories are shaped, but also a story in itself.
