Dream a little cream of it!
A concept store for the little ones has opened its doors in Grigoriou Lampraki street, in Glyfada, Athens.
Once more, studiomateriality wanted to create a fun and happy space in order to excite all cool moms and dads out there, who seek for authentic and well-crafted gifts and things for their newly borns.
The store’s interior creates a white canvas that balances between form and function. A creamy playground and shopping place, that showcase colorful boxes and shelves, play corners and relaxing areas.
Huge square boxes in bright colors including pink, blue, yellow and orange highlight the fluffy toys or offer an oasis of rest to the exhausted parents-customers.
A dressing house instead of a dressing room in bright blue, orange and yellow tones adds to the fun, teasing the little shoppers with the quote “wear it little people” in display.
White curtains, with big mint circles, decorate the blank walls creating an illusion of layering, like all creamy cakes with mint frosting do.
“As we all hide a kid inside us we tried to create an imaginary space where the colours, textures and children build a world of its own; a tasty and floating dreams n’ creams place”.In creams n’ dreams one can walk on sage floors next to sage mini bikes, read witty sayings and live an immersive shopping experience whilst exploring the kids’ world.
And don’t forget:
“One small step for man one giant leap for little people”. Or maybe the other way round?
