If the burgers can’t go to the beach, why not bring the beach to the burgers? A challenge studiomateriality was called to face, by undertaking BURGERS AND BEACHES as one of its playful projects. The team went for an intriguing approach by converting the classic fast-food restaurant into a beach setup. Booths get a whole new revamp, as they turn into beach chairs, beach vehicles and even lifeguard towers. Blue is dominant, with other colours adding pop splashes throughout the large, bright looking space. Sharks decorate the walls and tables, being a constant reminder of the vast appetite of all burger enthusiasts. Distinct illustrations bring the packaging, drink cups and food wraps into today’s design standards. Through the simplicity of their visual storytelling, studiomateriality is expanding the brand’s, already witty, DNA.
