Deeply inspired by the rich nature and identity of the Epirus’ region, studiomateriality has designed a visual identity for ZOINOS WINERY rebranding. Our goal was to showcase the uniqueness of the Zitsa area and the wines it produces, bringing them into the present and representing local tradition with a modern, fresh perspective. Part of the rebranding process was organizing and categorizing the existing wines, aiming for a cohesive corporate identity while preserving the individual stories of each wine.
Epirus, clouds, nature, stone, tree, mountain, water: we created a glossary of elements starting from a vibrant color palette. This was translated into illustrations of characteristic landscapes of the Zitsa region, as well as patterns and other graphic elements (such as flowers) referencing Epirus traditional costumes. The grape harvest and winemaking process also served as a source of ideas and creation – the wine bottle in the logo, the basket, etc. are representations directly inspired by this. Traditional typefaces reminiscent of a “printing house” were used in the labels and logo, aiming to function as another “stamp” of ZOINOS WINERY.
