In the heart of the Athens, where everything happens, where many trends started and tested and then spread throughout the city, Tweezers was established. A shop dedicated to what many describe as the “frame” of the face: the eyebrows. An eyebrow and eyelash grooming salon. A specialization, modern as a concept, which requires a corresponding design.
The purpose of the business becomes immediately apparent by looking at the facade. In terms of colour, the timelessly successful combination of black and white is brought to life by the addition of pink in the construction and details. The black mosaic floor climbs up the wall forming curves that suggest a cloud. The minimalist structures, the atmospheric lighting, the custom sink in the background and the round custom mirrors are the main decorative elements that characterize the ground floor space.
The basement is more simple. White colour dominates the walls and the floor mosaic making the space artificially bright. A custom curtain with a pattern inspired by the ultimate eyebrow tool – the tweezers – has been used as a divider between the spaces.
At Tweezers, the colours, the shapes are simple, as simple as the canvas created for the branding. The key messages are “shape your gaze” and “brow me up” while the font used to write the name is likely to remind you of something as it is iconic – it is that of Barbie.
shape your gaze. shape your gaze. shape your gaze. shape your gaze.
