Taking refuge in the sewers of New York City, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo were the Turtle Ninjas who, with the help of the anthropomorphic rat master Splinter, trained in the Japanese martial art of Ninjutsu to fight the villains of their city.
This fictional group of four mutant turtles that we grew up with is perfectly linked in our minds to pizza since they loved it. Every time he placed an order, Michelangelo would come up with crazy combinations of ingredients.
That’s why a pizzeria in Thessaloniki honors this beloved hero and lover of pizza who comes to us from the 80’s with his name. At the same time it reminds us of one of the enemies of the fearless team, the rhino Rocksteady.
This time, the rhino returns repentant and ready to offer pizza to those he has hurt in the past. As he transformed into the good guy now, he is the face of the pizzeria, having taken on a new form.
